As an avalanche awareness ambassador, I worked with Backcountry Access on a series of films that highlighted safe travel in the mountains. The goal was to show what goes into a safe day in the backcountry and how to properly #sendandreturn.
Sharing the importance of safe travel, decision making and recreation in the mountains has been a passion of mine. Working on my own education, I am CAA Level 2 Operations certified, Wilderness First Responder and have worked and studied at several backcountry skiing operations.
